Longtime developer of The Villages, Gary Morse, gave 1/3 stakes to each of his children before he passed away in 2014.
According to Bloomberg, the family's wealth crossed the $3 billion mark in 2018, making Mark Morse, Jennifer Parr, and Tracy Mathews all billionaires.
It's not uncommon for businesses passed down through the family to slowly disintegrate, but it seems like with each passing of the torch, The Villages only gets stronger.
While Mark Morse, Jennifer Parr, and Tracy Mathews are all a little more public facing than their father, still not a lot gets published about them.

So I've mentioned before that the wait times at The Villages Regional Hospital can be really long. You don't have to look too far to find several complaints about how long the wait can be.
But this week one guy took his frustration to a whole other level when he stole an ambulance because it too so long for him to be seen. [Villages-News]
