This week, Villager Sally Moss became the first resident to ride in a Voyage Auto self-driving taxi in The Villages.
We first told you that self-driving taxis were coming to The Villages a little over a year ago, and after months of testing, the future…and your taxi…have finally arrived.

Central Florida Health broke ground on their new 24-hour emergency department in the southern part of The Villages. Located across the street from Brownwood Paddock Square, the project is a joint effort between Central Florida Health, which includes Leesburg Regional and The Villages Regional and the University of Florida Health Shands. The Rotary Club of The Villages is hosting its 22nd annual Chili Cookoff and Home and Garden Show at Lake Sumter Landing today (Saturday, February 2) from 9am to 4pm.
