According to Villages-News, a fourth town square is coming to The Villages.
They are likely years away from being able to see and enjoy it, but all those residents buying homes in Fenney and the Village of Southern Oaks can rest easy knowing that one day, they'll have a town square to call their own.

According to an article from The Villages Daily Sun, public safety is also expanding southward. Three public safety departments that serve Sumter County have new stations in the works to help better serve the area’s growing communities.
A man who has worked in several restaurants in The Villages is behind bars after robbing a manager of the Belle Glad Country Club at gunpoint, barricading himself at his girlfriend's house in the Village of LaBelle North in an 11-hour standoff with police, and then leading them on a high-speed chase before being apprehended. According to real estate advisory firm Robert Charles Lesser & Co (RCLCO), The Villages leads the nation with an “estimated” 1,115 new home sales at the midway point of this year. At this time last year they had an “estimated” 983 new home sales.
According to RCLCO, “The Villages chooses not to share sales information until the close of each year, but RCLCO estimates that it once again holds the top spot with approximately 1,115 sales.” [RCLCO]
