According to a recent article from The Villages Daily Sun, we are just months away from being able to taste the very first farm-to-table produce from The Villages Grown.
Produce, and eventually other products, will be available at local restaurants and will also be available at various locations throughout the community via an Airstream trailer outfitted specifically for this purpose.
Rarely does The Villages do anything on a small scale, and The Villages Grown seems to be no exception.
According to the article, this will be the largest operation of its kind in the southeast U.S.

A few weeks ago I told you that The Villages led the country in most new homes sold. This week some equally impressive numbers were announced, and we learned that Sumter County (driven in large part by The Villages) led the state in job growth.
