In recent weeks we've talked about all of the growth coming to the southern part of The Villages, and this week we learned a little bit more about all of the roadways that will serve those areas.
According to an article from The Villages Daily Sun, “The 10 new roads will be built as neighborhoods and commercial developments are constructed. Their design continues the county’s goal of having multiple options in all directions which cuts traffic congestion.” [The Villages Daily Sun]

This week, Bicycling Magazine is out with a great article titled “How a Retirement Community Became One of America's Best Bike Towns”. [Bicycling Magazine]
Concerns about outside investors buying up homes in The Villages and turning them into rentals sparked a lively discussion at a recent CDD2 Board of Supervisors Meeting.
One thing people always ask about is who keeps track of the number of households that are 55+. Remember that to technically qualify as a 55+ community at least 80% of households must have someone living there who is 55+.
