I continue to track all the latest news and updates as it relates to coronavirus in The Villages.
This week we crossed the 600 case mark, and on Friday, Gov. DeSantis moved Florida into Phase 3 of reopening.
You can read this week’s coronavirus updates here.
Last week I mentioned it was rumored that live entertainment would return to the town squares on October 5.
That rumor appears to be true, though capacity will be limited at first, people will need to get a free pass through The Villages Box Office for the days they want to go.
Bar huts will be open, but happy hour is off the table for now.

In another sign that life is returning to normal around here, there will be some socially distant horses in The Villages this weekend, as the Fall Polo season starts up on Friday, September 25.
A socially-distant yet overflow crowd showed up this week to protest The Villages' future plans for apartments.

I've written before about my favorite Villages YouTube channels. This week I discovered another good one!
Papa Pineapples has some great aerial drone footage of The Villages on his YouTube channel. Check out one of his recent videos right here:
Plus he's a Green Bay fan! While I am a Tampa Bay fan, I also have a Green Bay shirt or two in my closet (long story).
You may have heard that The Villages developer controls about 60-65% of the resale market, but that leaves quite a few homes that nobody will tell you about or show you, except an outside Realtor like the one I send my readers to.
My readers get priority access to my preferred agent, but if you plan to be in The Villages this Fall or Winter and are thinking about buying a home or seriously looking while you’re in town, let me know as soon as possible so I can set you up with someone who can show you the homes The Villages sales reps simply won’t show you.
Full details can be found here.
Have a great week!

Just wait to the villages go public and sell their interest in the development, that when you have to have a plan to stay or sell. good luck. Anything can.

Love the fly-by video you included here. We’ve only been here less than a year Although we’ve been visiting for quite a few. Driving down to the Fenny Grill we have seen the construction in the Southern area but to view it this way gives a whole new perspective of the enormity of the new construction. I enjoy your newsletters. Thanks
