The Villages 2025 Strawberry Festival at Brownwood Paddock Square takes place on February 22-23, beginning at 10 am each day. Admission is free.
The event will feature plenty of live entertainment, vendors of all kinds, and of course more strawberries than you can possibly handle.
Here's a look at a previous year's strawberry festival:
Some of the more popular food vendors said to be participating this year include:
- Hadley Family Skee Ball & Fried Dough
- The Kettle Corn Cabin
- Oh My Dogs!
- Rock Paper Scissors Eat
- Island Fin Poke
- Heavenly Soft Pretzels
- Nothing Bundt Cakes
- Kona Ice
Live entertainment this year is set to include:
- Greg Warren Band
- Hayfire
- DJ Scooter
- Paul Bunyan Lumberjack Show
- Clown Alley 179
- Photo Booth
- SkeeBall
- Plant Guy
One of the most unique entertainment acts you'll see at the Strawberry Festival is The Paul Bunyan Lumberjack Show. Their events include classic log-rolling, axe throwing and crosscut sawing (the “Misery Whip”) in heated competitions between lumberjacks wielding speed axes and chainsaws. Come watch as these woodcutting experts go head to head for a chance at glory – you won't regret it! Showtimes are at 11 am, 2 pm, and 5 pm on Saturday and 10am, 12pm, and 2pm on Sunday.
Strawberries are probably not the first fruit you think of when you think of Florida, but they grow pretty well here. Strawberry season in Florida typically runs from December – March, culminating with the Plant City Strawberry Festival usually held at the beginning of March.
