World of Beer is located right in the heart of Brownwood, on the corner of Brownwood Boulevard and West Torch Lake Drive. In addition to the ridiculous selection of adult beverages, they also offer a great menu of pub fare that smells and tastes fantastic. The Beer

World of Beer serves beer in two different ways: on tap or by the bottle. They have over 500 bottled beers to choose from and 38 different rotating taps. Each of those taps is constantly rotating, so there is always something new to try. While they do change the beers that are on tap, they try to replace those beers with beers that are of similar styles. Therefore, there is always a wide selection of beer available.

With such an expansive selection of beer, World of Beer is able to offer an impressive number of options. They stock beers from all over the world, including Germany, Belgium, Japan, and even Kenya and Laos. They also offer hundreds of American craft beers and make it a point to feature a number of local Florida breweries.

One of the great things about having so many beers on tap is that World of Beer has the ability to make custom mixed draft beer. Beer lovers are typically introduced to this concept through the “Black & Tan,” which is when a stout is poured over top of a pale ale. However, this is only the beginning of mixing different beers together. There are endless combinations of mixing available. Most of the best tasting mixtures combine a lighter, possibly fruity beer with a darker, possible chocolate beer.

If you are interested in learning more about beer, they offer flights of beer, which are four sample tastings of different styles. You can try a flight of local Florida beer, seasonal beers, Belgian beers, or hoppy beers. The Belgian beers will allow you to taste the unique Belgian yeast flavor, while the hoppy beers will likely feature some of the best American pale ales and IPAs.

Wine & Spirits
